X-FRAME CCD is a state of the art digital radio/fluoro system providing very high resolution and sensitivity, and powerful processing tools. X-FRAME CCD is ideal for sophisticated dynamic studies, and allows a very low patient dose, high productivity, and a drastic reduction of cost per examination.
X-FRAME CCD represents the fifth generation of the ITALRAY X-FRAME Digital Fluoroscopy family and, just like the previous generations, has been developed totally in-house by ITALRAY's R&D department. X-FRAME CCD is characterized by an open architecture that can be easily customized and upgraded in both software and hardware according to the specific customer needs. The entire software application has been developed by ITALRAY on the Microsoft Professional platform, hence guaranteeing ease of use, a familiar user interface, and a proven stability.
X-FRAME CCD employs a latest generation high resolution 1K x 1K x 12bpp CCD camera (Charge Coupled Device) with very high sensitivity and capable of up to 60FPS. Furthermore, thanks to its RAM-Free acquisition mode, there is no limit in acquisition duration. Image intensifiers range from 9" to 16".
X-FRAME CCD comes standard with numerous post-processing tools, such as Auto-LUT, Edge-Enhancement, Custom Filtering, and Annotation. All these tools are very powerful but also extremely easy to use thanks to the user-friendly interface. In addition to that, X-FRAME CCD is equipped with a number of high-end real-time tools and filters that are key to obtain an outstanding image quality while maintaining a low patient dose. Precisely, X-FRAME CCD features a recursive filter for noise reduction with motion detection, the unique Automatic Brightness Control that allows for real-time fluoroscopy dose control based on a user-defined arbitrary ROI, and the Automatic Exposure Control for fluorography applications. X-FRAME CCD also gives the user a choice of a number of pre-defined exam-specific optimized acquisition modes (contrast, bones, dynamics, etc.).
X-FRAME CCD can also be equipped with an optional real-time DSA package, thus adding a number of angiographic functionalities and post-processing features such as Pixel Shifting, Landmarking, Mask Shifting, and Vascular Tracing functions like Max Op and Road Mapping used for interventional procedures. An optional CARDIO package is available as well for unmatched performances.
X-FRAME CCD features a comprehensive DICOM package that includes not only Print and Storage, but also Modality Worklist (download study lists directly from the hospital Radiology Information System - RIS) and Media Storage (creation of DICOM-compliant CDs and DVDs): all with a seamless network integration.
X-FRAME CCD can be connected with any recent tilting table and X-ray generator, but its optimal configuration is in conjunction with ITALRAY CLINODIGIT tilting tables and ITALRAY PIXEL HF series X-ray generators, both highly integrated with the X-FRAME CCD. The X-FRAME architecture is also ready for integration with dynamic flat panel detectors. The space efficient rack can be installed either under or on the control table.
